This payment is only for Michigan Sired two-year-olds, who were previously nominated as yearlings, eligible to the Michigan Sire Stake, if the March 16th Sustaining payment was missed.

The MHHA Board of Directors meetings are generally on the third Thursday of the month at 4 PM. If the AMR conference room is unavailable on the third Thursday the meeting may move to the Thursday before or Thursday after depending on the availability of the conference room.
Board of Directors Meetings are open to attend in person.

The Michigan Early Closing Michigan Sired Colt Stakes is limited to a total of 10 events. The Michigan Early Closing Michigan Sired includes 8 Blue events, 8 Green events, Great Lakes Stakes and Spartan Stakes. The 10 events can be a combination of starts in the Blue, Green, Great Lakes and Spartan Stakes. A Michigan sired horse nominated to this program is also eligible to enter in the Michigan Early Closing Mixed Colt Stakes events. The Michigan sired horse may only start in 10 events in the early closing colt stakes. If a Michigan sired horse starts in the Michigan Early Closing Mixed Company Colt stakes, the start in the Mixed Company Colt Stakes will count as one of the Michigan Sired Colt Stakes ten events.
