Representative Angela Witwer has been a champion for Michigan agriculture, county fairs, and the harness racing industry. As the sponsor of the "Lift the Cap" legislation she has played a critical role in advancing a long-term revenue solution that will help support future industry programs and initiatives.

While many legislators, bill sponsors, co-sponsors, and industry advocates have contributed to moving these bills forward, Representative Witwer has been a key leader throughout the process. Her leadership in the House and strong relationships within state government have been invaluable as we continue working toward passage of this important legislation.
