Attention Horsemen

As you are aware from the news, wildfires in Canada have severely impacted air quality in many parts of the US including Michigan. Currently, the air quality index in Northville, MI is above 150 and considered unhealthy for all people. Northville Downs,  MHHA and MGCB  intend to monitor the situation and may cancel live racing on Friday or Saturday (6/9 and 6/10) if the air quality remains unhealthy. The welfare of our human and equine participants are our first concern. We plan to make a decision by 1 PM tomorrow based on the most updated information and will notify horsemen as soon as the status of live racing for Friday is determined.
